The Cordele Garden Club enjoyed a vibrant and rewarding April meeting, filled with creativity, camaraderie, and community service. Members came together, each bringing an assortment of fresh flowers gathered from their own gardens. The meeting began with a delightful demonstration led by Candace Johnson, who showcased techniques for creating beautiful floral arrangements.

Inspired by Candace’s guidance, every member rolled up their sleeves and got to work, turning the meeting space into a colorful haven of blooms and greenery. The hands-on activity was not only a fun and educational experience, but also a chance for members to share tips, laughter, and stories.

The completed arrangements didn’t just stay within the club—they were thoughtfully delivered to several local assisted living facilities. The heartfelt gesture was aimed at spreading a little joy and color to those who may need it most.

It was a memorable and meaningful meeting, reminding everyone that a shared love of flowers can bloom into something much bigger—community connection and kindness.
