St Theresa Catholic Church hosted this fundraiser for The Daybreak Pregnancy
Resource Center, a non-profit organization, supporting families and providing
compassionate care for Crisp, Dooly and Wilcox Counties.
St. Theresa (Church of the Little Flower) Pastor: Fr. Paulinus Okpala
St. Theresa, s Church of The Little Flower” has a humble and varied history origins began
at a time in History shortly after the time of the death of her patroness St. Teresa of
Lisieux, who had a great love for missionaries and the small missions that they served.
While wanting to be a missionary herself, the cloistered Carmelite nun vowed that one
day when she went to heaven, she would fly to the missions and assist them with their
prayers. She wrote in her autobiography, “There will be no longer any cloister and grilles
and my soul will be able to fly with you in distant lands.”
St. Theresa, s is a warm, vibrant multicultural, friendly, Roman Catholic Church.
The gift from the Fundraiser for Daybreak will make a difference in a mother and babies’
lives. Your gift will have a significant impact on our communities, Dooly, Crisp and
Wilcox Counties.
