Christopher Allen Leger, age 37, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Evans, GA. Chris graduated from Crisp County High School in 2006 and graduated from Georgia Southwestern with a degree in Early Childhood Education. He served honorably in the U. S. Marines as a Satellite Communications Operator for three years. Chris was employed with High Focus as a Tutor and Behavioral Health Technician. Chris will be remembered for his infectious smile, his kindness, the love he had for his family as well as his passion for helping others. Due to his own life struggles, Chris was willing to extend a helping hand to those in need. In his relatively short life, he touched so many people. Chris was an exceptional young man that truly cared about the well-being of others.
Chris is survived by his parents, Ann and Jack Leger. His brother, Jamie Leger; sisters, Nickie McMillian and Ashley Jones; nephew, Jordan and nieces, Jaylah and Leylani. In addition, he is survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
