Dr. William Kimberly White, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family at his residence. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Prior to the service, the family will be welcoming friends starting at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.

Dr. White was born in Americus, Georgia to the late William Jessie White and the late Lavelia Ruth McGlamry White. He is preceded in death by his son Jordan Alexander White.

Dr. White was a respected doctor who dedicated many years to his profession. He established his private practice in 1989. He earned his specialty in internal medicine from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY. He served as Medical Director of Crisp Regional Hospice, Cordele Health and Rehab, High Cotton, Northside Villa, Pruitt Heath Ashburn, and Pruitt Health Sylvester. He also provided care for residents at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab, Crossview Care Center, and Pruitt Health Palmyra. Dr. White’s commitment to his patients and his expertise in internal medicine have made him a trusted healthcare provider in the community.

In his free time, he enjoyed a variety of activities. He loved fishing, gardening, antiquing, and browsing pawn shops for unique finds. At home, he found joy in cooking, canning, and listening to classic rock music, with Journey and Chicago being his favorites. He also had a passion for poetry and was a talented poet himself.

Dr. White is survived by his wife Heather of Cordele; his children Christian Jesse White of Marietta, Joshua Parker White of Peachtree City, and Addie White of Cordele; his brother Ben White of Cordele; and his fur baby Oakley.

Dr. White will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and care that will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
