In an exciting and sweet event, Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock and Sumter County Sheriff Eric Bryant will face off in an ice cream scoop-off at Scoops of Americus. The competition will bring together two local law enforcement leaders as they compete for the title of “Best Scoop” while engaging with their communities in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Sheriff Eric Bryant will kick off the friendly rivalry on Monday, March 24, from 5-7 p.m., while Sheriff Billy Hancock will take his turn on Thursday, March 27, also from 5-7 p.m. Both sheriffs will be dishing out their favorite ice cream, hoping to draw in the crowds and bring attention to the importance of community engagement.

The event is more than just about ice cream.
