Cordele Fire Department held live fire training today utilizing the new live fire burn building for the first time. Experienced firefighters practiced right hand/left hand search patterns, over and under furniture, feel the heat and see the smoke. Young firefighters are able to watch fire build, watch the smoke bank down and feel the heat. CFD trains harder so we can serve better!
