Harry ” Lee ” Jones

Harry ” Lee ” Jones  age 71, of Cordele passed away January 26, 2025  surrounded by family.  Born February 16, 1953, he was the son of the late John Ken Jones and Zelma Mathis Jones, and is preceded in death by his brothers, Kendrell  Jones and Bobby Jones, and one nephew, Ricky Jones.  Lee was a talented builder and enjoyed spending time outdoors especially fishing with his wife of 53 years, Pat Jones.  He was lovingly known as “Grandaddy Grandaddy” by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Pat Jones; two children, a son, Ken Jones of Jacksonville, FL and a daughter, Laura Lea Moore of Cordele,  and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Cordele beginning at 10am  January 29, 2025.  In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude.
