At 3:00 PM, Crisp County EMA Director Sheriff Billy Hancock in conjunction with the Crisp County Board of Commissioners enacted the Local State of Emergency due to the Snow Event occurring in Crisp County. The current temperatures, roadway conditions, and wintery precipitation make it necessary to enact this State of Emergency. Crisp County is under a winter storm warning until 7 AM Wednesday morning, We are going to encourage our residents to make preparations to be stationary by 6 PM this evening and remain until roadways clear on Wednesday.
