Donald Francis Jensen of Warwick passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2025, at his residence at the age of 76. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025, in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with burial following in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends prior to the service Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Audubon, Iowa, he was the son of the late Bernard Jensen and Frances Hoover Jensen. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ron Jensen, Paul Jensen and Allen Jensen. Donald served his country honorably for 20 years in the United States Marine Corp and during that time served in Vietnam. He retired as a Master Sargeant. He then went to work at the Marine Corps Supply Center in management and retired after 22 years. An outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, and playing golf. Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Albany. Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marty Jensen of Warwick; one son and one daughter, Jeremy Jensen (Dawne) of Tifton, and Brandi Wade (David) of Cordele; two brothers Steve Jensen (Rita) of Detroit MI and Mark Jensen (Julie) of Walnut, IA; a sister, Karen Peterson (Paul) of Ft. Dodge, IA; grandchildren Ashley Johns (Aaron) of Kileen, TX, Haley Kelley (Jake) of Pinehurst, Emily Hulett (Joshua) of Cordele, Donnie Jensen of Tifton, Justin Jensen of Camp Lejune, NC, and Jensen Wade of Cordele; three great-grandchildren, Ava-Jean Kelley, Hadley Hulett, and John-Michael Kelley; and his loyal and constant companion, Jasper.
