Kyle Hollomon Installed as New Public Defender for the Cordele Judicial Circuit

The Georgia Public Defender Council (GPDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyle Hollomon as Circuit Public Defender for the Cordele Judicial Circuit, effective December 16, 2024. Hollomon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, with a background in criminal defense and legal research.

“We are thrilled to have Kyle Hollomon join the Cordele Judicial Circuit as our new Circuit Public Defender,” said Omotayo Alli, GPDC Executive Director. “His commitment to justice and passion for defending the rights of the accused make him an invaluable asset to his community.”

The swearing-in ceremony for Kyle Hollomon will be held on Monday, December 16th, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the Crisp County Courthouse, located at 510 N. Seventh Street, Cordele, GA 31015.

Hollomon will be responsible for assuring that ingredient clients receive zealous defense and get the best resolution for their case in the Cordele Judicial Circuit which includes Ben Hill, Crisp, Dooly, and Wilcox counties.

Hollomon obtained admission to the Georgia Bar in November 2017 and has since held several notable positions in the legal field. These include serving as Assistant Public Defender in the Houston Judicial Circuit and Cordele Judicial Circuit, as well as working as a Staff Attorney at Cordele Judicial Circuit. Hollomon’s prior experience as an Associate Attorney at Lewis Brisbois and as a Judicial Law Clerk for Cordele Judicial Circuit further solidified his expertise in the field.
