Deputy delivers awareness class to scouts

Sgt. Kris Herrick, Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270’s fifth Eagle Scout, is a 12-year veteran of the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office. His son, Riley, is now a member of the Troop.
Kris teaches Drug and Alcohol Awareness at the local and state levels. He delivered his program at the regular Troop meeting on Monday, October 21.
Scouts attending the program were Jake Atkins, Landon Atkins, Simon Baker, Gabe Browning, and Riley Herrick.
