One Arrested After Extensive Investigation of Drug Distribution

Crisp County, GA (October 25, 2024): On October 24, 2024, members of the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force arrested forty eight year old, Derrieh Keonte Smith of 1207 9th Street South, Cordele, GA.

After receiving several complaints of suspected drug activity in the area of 1207 9th Street South, investigators with the Drug Task Force began a lengthy investigation. The investigation lead to the arrest of Smith. He is charged with the following;

• Three counts of Sale of Cocaine/Fentanyl

• Three counts of Sale of Cocaine/Fentanyl within 1000ft of a public park.

The investigation is ongoing with other charges pending. Smith is being held in the Crisp County Detention Center.
