It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan M. Brock, 72, on Monday afternoon, September 10, 2024, at Regency Hospital in Macon, Georgia. Dan was born in Americus, Georgia, to the late William Myers “Bill” Brock and the late Lera Alice Pate Brock. He had a successful career as a pharmacist, working at Walmart and B & B Drugs.

A funeral service to celebrate his life was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Hughes & Wright Funeral Home Chapel. The committal service took place at Bay Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Carlton Webb officiated the service with eulogies by Jeff Whelchel and Rev. Jimmy Black. Jeanell Webb sang “Celebrate Me Home.” Serving as pallbearers were Ben Cayer, Wes Jacobs, Tyler Waldrip, Luke Worley, Ronnie Gray, and Jeff Whelchel.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sandra Brock of Arabi, as well as his nieces, Mindy Cayer and her husband Ben of Tampa, Florida, and Megan Jacobs and her husband Wes of Bonaire, Georgia. Dan is also survived by his great-niece, Lilly Claire Jacobs, and his great-nephew, Brock Jacobs.

Dan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
