Warren Outdoors marked its grand opening on Friday, August 23, 2024, with a strong turnout from the local community. The event, hosted at the store’s new location, was a testament to the support and enthusiasm of Cordele residents. The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Tim Powers. Brian Leverett followed with an opening prayer, setting a tone of gratitude and community spirit.

Crisp County Commission Chairman, Dickie Dowdy, also spoke at the event, expressing his excitement for the new business. “This business is a welcome addition to our community,” Dowdy said, reflecting the importance of small businesses.

Jack and Lisa Warren, the proud owners of Warren Outdoors, addressed the crowd with heartfelt thanks. Jack Warren shared a poignant moment, recalling that in 1964, the Evans family founded the original business. He expressed pride in continuing the tradition, saying, “We are honored to pick up this legacy and pay it forward.” The grand opening was a successful celebration of both the past and the future, as Warren Outdoors embarks on its journey to serve the Cordele community.
