Crisp County Fire Rescue was recently awarded a $22,447 grant from the GFSTC Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council Fireworks Tax Grant. With this grant, which required a 10% match of $2,494 from Special Service District funds bringing the total funding to $24,941, they were able to purchase 9 new sets of turnout gear that needed to be replaced.
