Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 held its Summer quarter Court of Honor on Monday evening, July 29, 2024, in the sanctuary of the Cordele First United Methodist Church.
Senior Patrol Leader Simon Baker opened the ceremony by leading the Troop and their guests in the Pledge of Allegiance. After asking the guests to be seated, he led the
Scouts in the Scout Oath and Law, as well as the Outdoor Code. Scoutmaster John Frost then assumed the duties of the Master of Ceremonies. Rank advancement played a big part in the program.
