Lovetta Clark Corbin, 61, of Cordele passed away Wednesday,  July 10, 2024, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 25 years, Edward Corbin and a son, Johnny Williams, Jr. Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late David and Beatrice Brown. Lovetta was a paralegal for 25 plus years and was later employed by the Crisp County School System. She loved to cook and enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns. Lovetta is survived by two sons, Eddrick Corbin and Johntavious Williams, both of Cordele; two brothers, Roosevelt Brown and Ashley Clark, both of Cordele; two sisters, Alice Lester of Americus and Gail Beal of Cordele; and an aunt, Barbara Mitchell of Cordele; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
