The 75th Watermelon Festival that was held at Georgia Veterans State Park on June 22, 2024 had a great turn out. They had 60 arts and crafts vendors and 20 food trucks, with a variety of activities and live entertainment for everyone. Many of the popular annual activities took place such as the watermelon eating contest and watermelon seed spitting contest. It was a great turn out from the community for this diamond celebration.
