This years Watermelon Queens spent some time at Cordele-Crisp Carnegie Library reading to children.

Baby Melon Madilyn Brewer, Petite Melon Abigail Odom, Junior Miss Melon Marley Rainey, Teen Miss Melon Dani Jones, and the Watermelon Capital Queen Miss Ava Wilkinson was in attendance. They read four books, Watermelon Madness, Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon, Kemoni and the Leprechaun Snake and If You Plant a Seed.
