Paul Lynn Culberson of Cordele passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, at his residence at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Lynn Pope Culberson and sister, Patricia Ann Culberson. Born in Tuscaloosa, AL, he was the son of the late Walter Jack Culberson, Jr., and Willadean Lovett Culberson. Paul supported his community as President of the Chamber of Commerce in Cordele and worked for the Chamber in Camilla as well. Paul enjoyed sharing his time and love for the game of baseball as a Little League Umpire; later representing his region at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. Paul was also a member of the Crisp County High School Booster Club and enjoyed supporting his Cougars. Paul was proud to own his own trucking company; where he was able to share his warm spirit and love of music with so many from coast to coast. Lastly, Paul and his family were members of the Cordele First Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, a daughter and her husband, Merry Katherine and Patrick Nealon of Buckhead and a son, Walter Kenneth Culberson; a brother and his wife, Walter Jack and Candy Culberson of Sierra Vista, AZ; and six grandchildren, Nicholas Rocco Nealon, Amanda Susan Nealon, Emma Grace Culberson, Kurtis Christian Nealon, Amiel Jude Culberson and Wesley Paul Nealon.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15th, 2024, in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services in Cordele, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service that day beginning at 9:00 a.m.
