Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Crisp County Sheriff’s Office
On May 21, 2024, around 8:15 P.M., a Crisp County Sheriff’s
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a blue Honda CR-V for speeding on GA 401/I75 near mile marker 104. The driver, Frederick Davies, failed to provide the Deputy with a valid license. The Deputy also detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and observed an open container of alcohol in the cup holder. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of several illegal narcotics. Davies was arrested and transported to the Crisp County Detention Center without incident.
Frederick Davies, a 47-year-old male from Acworth, Georgia, faces the following charges.

- Driving with License Suspended
- DUI Less Safe
- Open Container
- Identification Fraud (7 Counts)
- Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon
- Use of a Forearm in the Commission of a Crime
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession of Cocaine With the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy) With the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Psilocybin With the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Marijuana With the Intent to Distribute (Felony)
- Possession of THC Edibles With the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of THC Oil With the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Schedule II with the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Heroin
- Pills not the Original Container
