 Mr. Grady E. Moore, 89, of Worth County, died on Monday, May 20, 2024 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Turner County, interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Carlton Webb and Rev. James Griffin will officiate.

Mr. Moore was born on November 11, 1934 in Turner County, to the late Beauria Oren and Alice Walls Moore. He had lived in Worth County most of his life, and was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Moore was a retired farmer who enjoyed fishing and working in his garden. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Moore was a dedicated and faithful member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Barfield Moore of Worth County; children, Todd Moore (Darlene), Connie Wheeler (Clark) and Rhonda Gregory (Kevin) all of Worth County; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith (Hunter), Richard Wheeler (Ashley), Bryan Gregory (Sarah), Ashley Mathews (Micah), Shayne Moore (Amanda) and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his son, Keith Moore and also by a granddaughter, LaShaye Moore.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
