The Cordele Garden Club have been busy already this spring planting flowers around the community. They took a portion of the proceeds from their annual plant sale to promote the beautification of Downtown Cordele. If you are in town, they ask that you stop by SAM Shortline Depot and look at the window box they have created.

The Garden Club also put together an educational project working with the elementary students in Crisp County. The club supplied the plants, soil, and raised bed for the students to learn, enjoy, and participate in planting flowers. This project was instructed by the members of the Cordele Garden Club.

The Garden Club would like to wish all who have a green thumb, “Happy Planting this Summer!”
