Crisp County Sheriff’s Office
On Thursday April 25, 2024 a Annual Candlelight Vigil Ceremony was held at the Community Clubhouse. Cordele Judicial Circuit District Attorney Brad Rigby presented a special award to Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock, who was named Law Enforcement Office of the Year.
During this week with is known at National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the District Attorney’s Office honors a law enforcement officer that has gone above and beyond in service to a family who had been a victim of a crime. Sheriff Hancock was selected for his amazing service to the family of Deputy Tyee Browne and the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office.
