Crisp County Sheriffs Office
CRISP COUNTY, GA (April 19, 2024): Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is a proud recipient of a $2,600 grant awarded by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) FY2020 Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP). Through this grant, the agency was able to purchase Narcan, which will be issued to Crisp County Deputies. “Since 2022, when the agency started providing Narcan to Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputies, this grant is the only one we’ve received covering the entire cost. With our agency having invested over $5,000 in supplying Deputieswith this life-saving spray, securing grants like this significantly benefits Crisp County taxpayers. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with a local pharmacy, Adam’s Drugstore and Gifts, to supply Narcan,” stated Sheriff Hancock.
