Augusta — Entered into rest on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Frances Gordon Williams, 95.

Frances was born in Eaton- ton, GA to George McMichael Gordon and Margaret Bazemore Gordon. She was a graduate of the Macon Hospital School of Nursing. She also studied at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Her nursing career covered a period of 43 years. She retired in
1993 from Crisp County Health Department after 28 years of service.

She was a member of Cordele First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She
was also a member of the Oliver Morton Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution in Gray, GA since 1952. Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jake Garvin Williams of
Cordele; and her parents. Frances’ family wishes to thank her caregivers: Amy Zepp, Carol Haynie, Debbie Willis, Sharon McMichael, and Mitzi Usry.

Frances was laid to rest at Ma- con Memorial Park in Macon, GA.
