Crisp Regional held their ground breaking event for the new $18 million dollar surgical facility expansion on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

The building is part 2 of renovations and additions needed for the advancement of surgery in Crisp Regional. With new medical technology constantly advancing, the need for larger spaces increases. They plan to create a surgical entrance in the back where those who go through out patient procedures can enter and leave with ease. This project will benefit the City of Cordele greatly and give more opportunities for teaching within the hospital.
