The Crisp County School System is proud to announce that Sheriff Billy Hancock was recognized as a Champion of Education at the Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Education Service Agencies (RESA) Recognition Luncheon.
“Sheriff Billy Hancock is both a Champion for Education and a Champion of our entire community. He brings a lifetime of experience to the Crisp Community. A graduate of Crisp County High School, he has spent his entire career devoted to serving the citizens of Crisp County. Dedicated, compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic: Sheriff Billy Hancock is the ultimate champion for the children and families of Crisp County Schools. Leading from afar is a foreign concept for Sheriff Hancock; you will always find him in the midst of not only a crisis but a celebration. He believes wholeheartedly in our community and understands the importance of investing in its most valuable resource: our children. He is a constant pillar in our community, providing support not only as our Sheriff but as an advocate, a defender, a fan, and most importantly, a friend.” stated Superintendent Dr. Cindy Hughes
