On Tuesday November 21,2023, at 12:30P.M., Sgt. Chad Harrison and Trooper Anderson Donaldson presented a beautiful charcoal artist rendering portrait of Sheriff Robert Rodgers to his widow Dr. Haley McCall Rodgers in a surprise presentation at Blackshear Veterinary Clinic. The artist is Ryan Myers from Albany, Georgia.  Dr. McCall was overwhelmed with joy and stated the picture truly captured the essence of Sheriff Rodgers.  Sgt.Harrison also presented a copy of the portrait to Mrs. Alicia Donahoo which surprised her. She stated she would hang it in her office.  Sgt. Harrison stated a second copy of the portrait would be presented to Wilcox County Sheriff’s Department at a later date.
