CRISP COUNTY- October 23, 2023
On October 23, 2023, at approximately 1:15 P.M., Royce Reeves Sr., a 51-year-old male from Cordele, Georgia, turned himself into the Crisp County Detention Center after a warrant was issued October 23, 2023, for Theft by Taking (Misdemeanor). Reeves then appeared before a Magistrate Judge, who set a bond that was subsequently signed by an individual, leading to his release.
This incident stemmed from a report received by the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office on October 19, 2023, indicating the removal of city council campaign signs from various locations in Cordele. After a thorough investigation, it was established that Reeves was responsible for removing these campaign signs.
