Odessa Owens Edge Dalrymple age 101 of Covington, LA formally of Cordele passed away on November 4, 2022. She was born in Sycamore, Georgia to the late James Jackson and Clara Ann Owens. She was a member of Seville Baptist Church and attended Prevailing Word Church in Cotulla, TX. Odessa loved to have get togethers with her family and friends. Odessa was preceded in death by her parents, spouses William Jennings Edge and  James Dalrymple, son Owens Bryan Edge, and grandchildren Wesley Edge, Leslie Edge. She is survived by her Daughter, Reta Marie Allen of Cordele, GA; Daughter-in-law, Shirley Walls of Covington, LA;  Grandsons, Owens Bryan Edge, Jr. of Safford, AZ, Christian Edge of Covington, LA; and a Granddaughter, Jayne Edge Kotter of Poplarville, MS; 4 great-grandsons; 5 great-granddaughters; and 2 great-great-grands. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will follow the service in the Pitts Cemetery.
