Funeral Services for Jared Blake Fountain will be Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The burial will follow at the Cedar Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday, July 6, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Jared, 40, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 as the result of an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Reese Fountain. Born in Cordele, he was the son of William J. Fountain and Martha Brown Raburn. Jared worked in construction with Bath Planet in Eastman and was a member of the Baptist faith. He loved antiques and going “junkin”. He was an avid collector of guns and Zippo lighters. Jared is survived by two sons,  Kade Fountain and Knox Fountain, both of Cordele; the mother of his children, Morgan Redden Fountain of Pitts; his parents, William J. Fountain and his wife, Carrie of Warner Robins;  his mother, Martha Raburn and her husband, Allen of Cordele; his fianceé, Nikki Craft of Cordele; three sisters, Deborah Walker and her husband, Greg, and Amanda Dean and her husband, Brandon, all of Cordele and Candice Ivey and her husband, Dustin of Dublin;  maternal grandmother and her husband, Irene and Jerry Bringman of Cordele, paternal grandmother, Laurine Wharton of Chester. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services.
