Martha Angela Hutchens, 62, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Due to the government restrictions, a private family graveside service only will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2020 in the Penia Baptist Church Cemetery. The service will be live streamed from the Rainey Family Funeral Service website at www.raineyfuneral.com and on their Facebook page. Revs. Larry Willbanks, Terry Ryan, Jay Shingler, and Joey Boney will officiate. Angela was born on January 8, 1958 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Lovell Wheeler and Cobb Jones.  She was an active member of Penia Baptist Church where she especially loved being a part of the Penia Pearls Sunday School Class. Angela loved to cook; especially deserts, and also loved gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bennett M. Hutchens of Arabi, GA;  Sons, Bennett M Hutchens, Jr. and Bradford J Hutchens of Cordele;  Brother, Virgil Jones (Cindy) of Culpepper. VA;  Brother, Eric Jones of Montezuma, GA;  Sister-in-Law, Marsha Deese (Gerald) of Ashburn, GA;  Grandsons, Jonathan and Christopher Hutchens of Ty Ty, GA;  Nieces, Carley, Chelsea and Courtney Jones of Culpepper, VA, Karen Faircloth (Jeff) of Warner Robins, GA;    Nephews, Cory C Jones (Hailey) and Trenton Z Jones (Patti) of Abbeville, GA; and Great-Nieces, Scarlette Jones, Callie Vandegrift, and Cassady Vandegrift; An online register book is available at www.raineyfuneral.com
