Firefighters with Crisp County Fire Rescue and the Cordele Fire Department are currently working to extinguish a fire inside a residence located at 1201 Blackshear Road. According to EMS Director David Edwards on the scene, none of the occupants were hurt, but fire has caused significant damage inside the home. This is a developing news story.
