A memorial service for Bobbie Joe Grimes, 47 of Cordele, will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, February  21, 2020 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday beginning at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Bobbie Joe, 47, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Born in San Bernardino, Calif., she was the daughter of Danny Lee Jones and the late Bonnie Darlene Butler.   Bobbie Joe was a Manager (RET) for Golden Corral Restaurants. She loved all the outdoors, and enjoyed camping and playing Candy Crush. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her fiance, Steven Arthur Grennell of Cordele; her children, Amy Grimes, Adam Grimes and Jessica Grimes, all of Cordele; her father, Danny Lee Jones of Ashburn;  her step-mother, Katie Ledford of Ashburn; siblings, Billy Frost of Cordele and Lorinda Niblack of Montana and five grandchildren, Mason Grimes, Skyler Strickland, Alyssa Grimes, Kaleb Davis and Abby Grimes.
