The Cordele Dispatch has confirmed that the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT) is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred in the vicinity of Joe Wright Dr. and 26th Ave. W. Very little information about the incident is available at this time since the investigation is ongoing, but the Dispatch has been able to confirm there was a traffic fatality. We will update this report as soon as more information becomes available.
