Funeral services for Ellen Juanita Johnson of Cordele will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with interment following Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Juanita, 76,  passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her granddaughter’s home in Dawson.  Juanita was born in Rochelle and was the daughter of the late A.J. Davis and Mattie Pearl Johnson Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Washington Johnson and two sisters, Sue Wood and Fay Young. She was a sewing machine mechanic (RET) and a member of the Baptist Faith. A certified welder, Juanita enjoyed fixing things. She loved the outdoors and all God’s creatures and enjoyed fishing.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Ellen and Charles Childers of Cordele;  a granddaughter and her husband, Michelle and Daniel Brown of Dawson; and two great-grandchildren, Lainey Brown and Wyatt Brown.
