 CORDELE — Graveside services for Mae Crane, 89, will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Crane was born in Homer, Ga., to Glen Crump and Nettie Lawrence Crump. She was the widow of Samuel Crawford Crane. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Glen Crump, Jr., Jack Crump, Grace Parker, Winnie Kithens and Tommy Crump. She was a Baptist and homemaker. She was also a former waitress at The Haven.

She is survived by her sons: Ricky (Judy) Crane and David (Edwyna) Crane all of Cordele; a brother: John Crump of Gainesville, Ga.; six grandchildren: Steven Crane, Steven Lee Crane, Kathy Jo Crane, Stacy Dowdy Walls, Stephanie Dowdy Smith and Doyle Dowdy; and seven great-grandchildren: Chloe Mae Crane, John Henry Crane, Danielle Walls Smith, Johnathan Walls, Justin Walls, Ellis Smith and Russ Smith.
