A memorial service for Judy Ann Holt, age 60 of Cordele, will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.  at Cordele Bible Baptist Church with Rev. James Wedges officiating.   The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Judy  passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Select Medical Hospital in Atlanta, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Morgan City, LA to John Lewis Shivers and Loretta Adaline Shivers. Judy was a kind-hearted soul who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was known as one of the ‘neighborhood moms’ who took pride in helping people out whenever she could. She loved football, especially the Auburn Tigers, and keeping a garden when she was in better health.

Judy was preceded in death by two sons, James Matthew Erwin and Jarrod Heath Savage. She is survived by her sons, John Lewis Holt, Timothy J. Holt (Haley) and Michael Anthony Savage, all of Cordele;  three granddaughters, Zair Holt, Nini Savage, and Paris Savage;  four grandsons, Bowen Holt, Ahmir Savage, Skyler Adkins, and Colee Jarrod Holt;  a brother, Robert Wade Shivers of Crawford, AL;  and two sisters, Lisabeth Craft of Wedowee, AL and Deborah Williams of Graham, AL.
