Eight Georgia law enforcement agencies are working together to investigate burglaries that occurred across South Georgia in recent weeks. After an intensive investigation one suspect is in custody. Officers with the U.S. Marshal Middle Georgia Fugitive Task Force apprehended Anthony Jayquan Williams, a 26-year-old resident of Macon. Williams faces burglary charges with Crisp County Sheriff’s Office for the February 15, 2019 burglaries of Striplings General Store on 2289 GA Hwy 300 South and Quick Buys on 2465 Highway 300 South, both in Cordele. Additional charges are pending further investigation. Other suspects remain at large, and law enforcement agencies are continuing to work together to apprehend others involved.
