Crisp Extension offering SERVSAFE food handling courses

- The Crisp County Extension is offering a SERVSAFE food handlers course on April 16 from 2-6:30 p.m. at the extension office in Cordele. This class is recommended for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. Some of the best practices covvered include personal hygiene, cross-contamination, and time/temperature abuse. The cost is $15. The extension office will also host a SERVSAFE food safety training program for managers on April 24 and 25. The two-day managters training course costs $140.
