Authur James Nance, Jr. charged with pandering, solicitation

Charges against Crisp Commission vice-chair stem from GBI investigation into sex crimes allegations at FVSU

 

Authur James Nance, Jr. was among six men charged with pandering and solicitation of sodomy in Fort Valley on Tuesday.

The six were charged as a result of a months-long investigation by the GBI into an executive assistant at Fort Valley State University named Alecia Jeanetta Johnson. She is accused of offering to provide a prostitute to Nance and the five other men.

Johnson is charged with six counts of prostitution. The charges were announced on Friday by Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney David Cooke.

The other men charged with Nance are Ernest Harvey, 47; Kenneth Howard, 56; Ryan Jenkins, 35;Charles Jones, 57; all of Fort Valley; and Devontae Little, 26, of Warner Robins.

Nance is currently employed at C.J. Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Valley.
