The Champions for Cody Golf Tournament will be on Saturday, June 16 beginning at 8 a.m. Cody McWhorter was born with cerebral palsy and is a caring, compassionate, Christian young man. Cody’s mind is fine, he is just trapped inside of his body. Cody’s life consists of being moved from a bed to a wheelchair everyday. Cody requires 100% around the clock care and cannot do anything for himself except use two fingers on his right hand to move his electric wheelchair and press buttons on his phone. With all of his limitations, Cody never complains. Cody is an inspiration to so many people and is loved by all who meet him.

Cody’s cargo van and lift is 30 years old. The van needs a new engine, transmission and carburetor. The van stays in the shop now more than with Cody! We are not attempting to purchase a new van and lift. We are hoping to find a good, used and dependable cargo van. The van and lift are Cody’s only means of transportation to his doctor appointments.

The golf tournament will be at Wanee Lake Country Club & RV Park in Ashburn, Ga. There will also be a raffle held on Saturday during the golf tournament. If you would like to donate gift cards, they will be used as raffle prizes. If you have any questions please call Ronnie Waters at 229-567-2727.
