Cordele native Taylor Walls was selected as the 79th overall and as an early third round pick of the MLB draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Walls who has been a 3 year starter at short stop for the Florida State Seminoles graduated Crisp County High in 2014. Walls is leading his Seminoles into the college World Series for the first time since 2012. He is the son of Dave and Michelle Walls of Cordele. Congratulations Taylor!!!!!!
