Zion Hope

The fourth Sunday in April is a special day to remember those whose final resting place is Zion Hope Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.  For family members who have moved away from the Pateville Community and surrounding areas of Crisp County, the day is a homecoming of sorts to enjoy singing together and eating on the grounds at Antioch Baptist Church (Antioch Road off Highway 33 in Cordele). Singing will begin between 10 -10:30 a.m. and continue until lunchtime. This year, we will be without the late W.D. (Billy) Dorough, who has helped lead the singing.  After the covered dish meal (bring a basket of food to share; ice will be provided), singing will begin anew inside the church.

Donations can be made to Zion Hope Cemetery Fund, c/o Donzel Lewis, 182 Thomason Road, Cordele, GA 31015.  Please make sure you and your family plan to attend this special day on Sunday, April 23.

Forest Chapel Baptist

All churches, friends, and family are invited to our annual gospel sing on Sunday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m.  Special guests on the program are The Gospel Kings of Warner Robins, Georgia, and many others.  The church is located at 4104 Pinehurst-Byromville Road, Pinehurst, Georgia.

Ebenezer Baptist

Ebenezer Baptist invites you to attend our homecoming on Sunday, May 7, 2017. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at Noon. After the service, we will have lunch together in the church social hall.  The church is located at 118 Crisp Academy Drive in Cordele.
