At approximately 12 noon the City of Cordele Water Department and the Crisp County Power employees responded to a busted water main on Greer St.   How the water line burst is not known, but it was located directly beside a light pole and the water pressure ate the dirt away from the pole. The Power Commission was able to stabilize the pole, and they jointly are working together to fix the problem.
