Carolyn Brannen Bischel

CORDELE – Carolyn Brannen Bischel, 89, of Cordele passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon following a short illness.  She retired to Lake Blackshear, where she was active in the First United Methodist Church in Warwick, where she taught Sunday school for over 20 years.  She also enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling.
Mrs. Bischel is survived by her daughter, Lynn Bishel Beck and son-in-law, Allen Beck; three grandchildren, Frank Beck, Doug Beck and Valerie Beck Killough; her siblings, Joy Brannen Cobb and Orren Brannen; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bischel was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Bischel; and her son, Patrick E. Bischel.
A family memorial service will be held in Carol’s home with her nephew, Rev. Bryan Cobb officiating.  Interment will be held in Andersonville Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial gifts or contributions be made to a charity or cause that provides help or service to others.
