Crisp Middle School Beats Lee Co.

The Crisp Middle School got great pitching from Noah Walters and good timely hitting en route to a rare victory over
arch rival Lee County Middle School. The Lee County team has beaten Crisp 3 years in a row, but this time the Cougars prevailed on the road 8-7. Leading the offense for the Baby Cougars was Jackson Napier with 2 base hits and 2 stolen bases. Jack Carter was 1 for 3 with 3 Stolen Bases and Jackson Pheil had 2 doubles and 2 Stolen Bases. Walters Struck out 13 batters walked 4 and scattered 10 hits over 7 complete innings. “I am very proud of the boys effort in hanging in there against a very good Lee County team,” said Ben Robbins Head Coach.
