Cordele —
Mr. Pass, 79, died Saturday at Crisp Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Wilcox County and was the son of the late Lloyd and Ora Millie Childers Pass. He had been the owner and operator of JP's Produce of Cordele for many years.
Mr. Pass is survived by his children, James Pass, Jr. and his wife, Sarah of Whigham, and Melanie Phillips and Russ Finch, both of Cordele; four brothers, George Pass and his wife, Helen of Cordele, Walter D. Pass of Middleberg, FL, Leon Pass of Ft. Pierce, FL and Orien L. Pass and his wife, Jacque of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren, Heatherly Chandler, Chris Pass, Jessica Finch and Stephen Finch; four great-grandchildren, Ancil Chandler, Adgel Chandler, Emily Langston and Shelby Langston; and his caregivers, Deborah Aultman and Patricia Aultman, both of Cordele. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oneita Pass.
