Rev. J.T. Smith and Rev. Roy Gibbs officiated the service. Words of remembrance were given by Coty’s aunt, Elizabeth Davis. Jim Marshall expressed his gratitude to Coty on behalf of the United States of America. A video of Coty along with the song "Some Gave All" was played during the service, and a pre-recorded rendition of "Lead Me Home" was also played.
Cpl Sockalosky was carried to the graveside at Tremont Cemetery in a handmade Amish Caison pulled by Bill, a handsome Clydesdale and driven by Brinson Brock. Full military honors were given by the Funeral Detail from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany.
American Flags were presented to his wife, Brittany Sockalosky, mother and father, Carolyn Adsit and Stephen Sockalosky, uncle, John Mosley and grandfather, Roy Porter.
Arrangements were handled by Rainey Family Funeral Service.
